I haven't seen Fabianski in action, its a little too early to say whether he'll be first choice or not. I think he will get a run in Carling and the FA cup first to prove his mettle. Jens is 37 and vastly experienced, if he cuts out the erratic aspect of his game and recaptures his 05/06 form, Fabiansky will have to wait for one more year. Almunia is still there, but I don't think Wenger is very crazy about the dude, and he seems content to play second fiddle and maybe third with Fab's arrival. Competition is good, Almunia and Jens will sit up, it can only get better for Arsenal in that department.

@ Ruu is the fisrt choice goalie for Germany an 'obscure' keeper? By the way, had you heard of Petr Cech before he came to Chelsea?

I don't think its very healthy 2 have a guy whose a lil' 2 prone 2 "rushes" of blood 2 his head ever so often & withagonising, unpredictable randomness between the goalposts --- very risky, you never know when the next attack comes !

What's with Arsenal & obscure goalkeepers ?

well, i'd go for Almunia --- he just needs some games under his belt to sharpen his reflexes; a pity wenger can't see the talent in the man !
