if some of our politicians were to be footballers, which position'll they play?

I read an Interview over the weekend,

A journalist (whose name eludes me) asked Sir Ferggie a couple of questions,

which sir Alex answered beautifully,

but it was the last pair of questions that inspired this thread.

SIr Alex was asked if the British PM and his predecessor (Tony Blair) were to be footballers, what position does sir Alex think they'll play?

for the PM, sir Alex answered "central midfield"

and for mr Blair he answered " striker".

now I ask if some of our politicians were to be footballers, which position(s) do you think they'll play?

state the name of the politician, and the preferred position.
