Is Anyone Watching The 2007 Nba Playoffs?

The Playoffs are on and last years finalists are out The Miami Heat and The Dallas Mavericks, Dallas my team had the best regular season record 67-15 but got knocked out by the hungrier Golden State Warriors, the Heat also got dumped by the Bulls, who would win it? Bulls, Pistons? Suns or Spurs, time would tell

Well, San Antonio made good use of the broom by sweeping Cleveland. It was more like a 1st division top team playing a 2nd division top team. I don't like the Spurs but they earn my due respect. They set the tone from the beginning of the series till the end. Great team

The NBA is still the poo regardless of whatever happens and you only have to admire the efficiency of the San Antonio Spurs even though im backing Lebron,Gibson and the Cavs all the way,

A dead NBA is way way way better than an inconceivable silly game of grown men skating on ice and bumping themselves into the wall to thrill some white folks. Maybe we should just watch figure skating, dodgeball or lacrose, or better yet move to Canada to appreciate the silly hockey game.

I told you guys lebron james is tha poo. The problem is that they need to be a team to beat the spurs.

The Cavs are making me eat my words i underrated the power of Lebron James, he has really grown from a boy to a mani just hope they learnt from last years experience and close out the series in Cleveland,

48 points for Lebron, Detroit is beginning to act like Dallas. They make teams that they could handle gain confidence in there game. How can you let Lebron have game tying dunks? 29 straight point! The guy scored 29 of there last 33 points. He didn't have to work as hard for it like Kobe does. That's what I respect about San Antonio. You better know your stuff for you to shake them. Though boring, they are calm and are good at setting the tone. I'm done with this playoff jare.

@doyin13

Which is ur team, Ottawa or Anaheim? I love them hockey players jare. They are hardcore to the bone. I kind of want Ottawa to win but they are down by 2 in the series already. We'll see sha.

You don't have to like San Antonio, but you just have to respect the Spurs. They know how to win. Good or bad they are about business. Being a Mavs fan, it's kind of hard to admit this but it's just the truth. They were down by 20 points against the Mavs in Game 7 in last seasons Semis and they came back only to lost the game in OT. Playoffs is all about adversity and a team has to be able to overcome it. I just hope Detroit gets things together so that we can see a competitive final and not a mediocre one.

That guy make NBA boring.Always Flopping and get his way to the foul line.Well with what i have seen,I now spurs will win this year title because if they cant score, they use their flopper to get point and frustrate opponents.

Getting sick of the NBA right now.Spurs has David Stern with them so they can ride.

Did you guys watch Game 4 Spurs-Jazz.Men na now i know say NBA referees dey favour spurs.Something needs to be done about that Ginobli guy(King of Floppers).

we can only hope and pray. If the Spurs win, that does it for my already tenuous link with the NBA.

Cant believe Suns blew it against those boring spurs.Well i hope Carlos boozer has the recipe for them.I hate to watch the finals again feeling sleepy watching those guys.

4get about lebron getting to the finals. What do you guys think Detroit came to watch or what?He is the only star in his team. That cant get him anywhere. He is really hustling but You all know the game

Its gonna be detroit and jazz. I hope spurs dont get out of this mess they are with boozer.

Cavs aint got any chance against Detroit. It would be fluke if that series goes to 6. Detroit is playing like a true championship team. Atleast I know they can whop Spurs if Utah can't.

I think Dallas has the right mix already. All teams have their flaws. Avery just need to use those players right. After losing to Miami last season, he drafted Maurice Ager so he could defend players like Wade, Kobe etc but where was Ager when they were playing Golden State? Look at the way Phoenix plays Lakers, they know they can't stop Kobe but they defend him good and try to shut the other guys down. Kobe scored 50 points in game 6 last season against Phoenix and they still lost. Letting JT go won't be a fair deal for that guy because he's part of the reason why this team is here. He's a shooting guard but still has the highest assist in his team. Some coaches wish they have what Avery has. All they had to do last season against Miami is defend Wade well and shut the other guys down. They get too bothered when stars score alot of points. That's what stars do; score points. You just don't get bothered by it. Imagine Greg Popovich being the coach of Dallas right now, he'll probably win a ring every season. I hope Avery has learnt his lessons

The cavs 'r straight up hustlers and if care is not taken might win the championship.

@bolaoni

Shaq in Dallas? im not sure thats gonna work the dude is old and he has 4 rings already hes lost the hunger and hes pretty injury prone, what we really need is a center and an experienced PG.could also use a swingman too.some folks also have to go

I agree with you i think the east is done and dusted, Detroit would take it Cavs and Nets are poor scorers,The Nets put in just 7 points in a quarter in Game 5, As for the West i disagree i think Utah would put up a fight and you would be suprised, Remember they have two big men who could really shoot the ball and they also have great hustle players,

The Bulls lost. What a shame. They really need some inside scoring presence and Ben Wallace definitely isn't it. Some say they should have got Gasol, but he is a defensive liability. I know Jermaine O Neal wants to go to New York but if Chicago could get him, they would be contenders straight away.

Utah for the Western Conf. I doubt it. Boozer has been the difference maker in their previous series so far but he doesn't match up well against either Tim Duncan or Stoudemire. who are both bigger guys. Their perimeter shooting has also been hot, but both the suns(a bit) and the spurs(even better) have got good perimeter defence. so i expect winner of spurs suns series to go thru.

In the east, pistons all the way. last season pistons were able to beat the cavs, and the cavs have not improved since then. I would love the nets to be out there, but i have always felt that Kidd is the most overrated non scorer in NBA history.

You right man.The Mavs had too much confidence on the warriors before they lost out.At least i know they have the recipe to kick Spurs out.Is there anything they can do to stop Spurs boring game.I always sleep off watching those punks play and it seems that the secret of their success. They make the game too boring for their opponents

Duncan and bowen were to be suspended also if you watch it closely.y amara and diaw?

Game 6 is coming and i hope Amare steps up to push this guys out.Spurs are bring NBA down with thier boring game.

poo on you SPURS

Mavs by now has been bitten twice and hopefully they have learnt there lessons from the pass 2 seasons. Mavs don't really like playing physical and that's what killed them both in the Finals against Miami and against Golden State. As for the suspensions, the NBA is very pathetic. Bowen has been getting away with alot. Suns lost game five only by 3 without Diaw and Stoudemire. I just hope Stoudemire does not get in foul trouble in game 6. If he doesn't, Duncan better be watchout because he'll get handful of Stoudemire. ANY TEAM BUT SPURS. Just sick of them!

Phoenix and Detroit all the way. Actually, anything but Spurs. Dallas was my team but they are home. Tired of seeing Bowen play dirty, Ginobili flopping, Timmy looking all innocent even when he knows he messed up etc. My main man in that team R Horry messed up too big time. Looking forward to a tough game six. Hopefully Phoenix can get a championship that they truly deserve

can u believe the bastard nba suspended not only Amare stoudemire but boris diaw as well for the next game.

i swear they really want to stop the suns from winning. what kind of rubbish is this.

and look at the warriors, if they knew they were not going to do anything in the play offs they should have let the mavs thru.

everything is pissing me off.

love the bulls tho lol

I like nash mainly because he shows you dont need to jump out of the gym as long as you keep your wits about you on the court.

And unlike all this brash black basketball players with little talent who make a lot of noise he is humble to boot.

Suns will lose to the Spurs to spite white folks that think Nash is the messiah. Sorry Amare. I love you but hate the idea of a white hope.

Pistons all the way. A 'ship for Webber and McDyiess is about right. With Billups in the anchor and Sheed intimidating, they're half way through.

Golden state lost. Suns lost. Terrible.

It was a terrible weekend of sports for me. Lets hoe the midweek makes up for it.

Go Suns Bulls Warriors and Cavs.

i know everyone croons over the skills of Tim Duncan, but my god he is so boring. When I heard he swore at that ref(the name fails me) I was pleasantly surprised. ony parke and Manu ginobili are alright but they can't compare with the vivacity of nash, stoudemire, bell and the brazillian kid(my memory is a bit porous tonigt). Closest to them in the palayoffs are the anarchic warriors. IF only they can just get past the jazz.

justice? let them do that to the Spurs first and we will know they are worthy Champs.

I love Steve Nash and Stoudemire a lot and wish they win it but

Mavs is my team and now that they have lost, anybody can win it.

0
Avatar

Dallas deserved to lose because they relied on a star who relied too much on his jump shot. No inside game.

I don't know why no one has mentioned the suns. Best team playing and to watch. If there is any justice in the world they will win.

The Bulls are on their way out baby they are 3-0 down to Detroit, the most interesting series is the Jazz and the Warriors you really need to see those games,

Please no Spurs these year we are tired of their boring brand of basketball, id prefer the Suns

anything could happen in sports but the chances of Cavs beating Detroit is very blunt. How I wish Phoenix or Dallas was still around!
