Iceland and Austria will play in the final Euro 2016 Group F match at the Stade de France in Paris on 22 June.
Iceland had drawn each of their two group games so far and with 2 points placed second in the group above Portugal by the virtue of a superior goal difference. Iceland had performed very well in the two previous games especially on the back of a strong defense. They are dangerous on counter attacks. Most likely, that Iceland will win Austria in the upcoming match. Iceland has following squad:
Goalkeepers: Hannes Halldorsson (Bodo/Glimt), Ogmundur Kristinsson (Hammarby), Ingvar Jonsson (Sandefjord).
Defenders: Ari Skulason (OB), Hordur Magnusson (Cesena), Hjortur Hermannsson (PSV Eindhoven), Ragnar Sigurdsson (Krasnodar), Kari Arnason (Malmo), Sverrir Ingi Ingason (Lokeren), Birkir Sævarsson (Hammarby), Haukur Heidar Hauksson (AIK).
Midfielders: Emil Hallfredsson (Udinese), Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea), Aron Gunnarsson (Cardiff), Theodor Elmar Bjarnason (AGF), Arnor Ingvi Traustason (Norrkoping), Birkir Bjarnason (Basel), Johann Gudmundsson (Charlton), Eidur Gudjohnsen (Molde), Runar Mar Sigurjonsson (Sundsvall).
Forwards: Kolbeinn Sigthorsson (Nantes), Alfred Finnbogason (Augsburg), Jon Dadi Bodvarsson (Kaiserslautern).
Austria was surprisingly defeated by Hungary 2-0. Nevertheless, the team was lucky to come out with a point in the draw against Portugal. Their head-coach Marcel Koller has plenty of headaches ahead of this must win tie as his players’ performances have been below par. Austria is staring at a similar fate they suffered when they co-hosted the tournament in 2008, where they got eliminated in the group stages after failing to win a single match.
Austria will play today with the next squad:
Goalkeepers: Robert Almer (Austria Vienna), Heinz Lindner (Eintracht Frankfurt), Ramazan Ozcan (Ingolstadt).
Defenders: Aleksandar Dragovic (Dinamo Kiev), Christian Fuchs (Leicester City), Gyorgy Garics (Darmstadt), Martin Hinteregger (Borussia Monchengladbach), Florian Klein (Stuttgart), Sebastian Prodl (Watford), Markus Suttner (Ingolstadt), Kevin Wimmer (Tottenham Hotspur).
Midfielders: David Alaba (Bayern Munich), Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City), Julian Baumgartlinger (Mainz), Martin Harnik (Stuttgart), Stefan Ilsanker (Leipzig), Jakob Jantscher (Luzern), Zlatko Junuzovic (Werder Bremen), Marcel Sabitzer (Leipzig), Alessandro Schopf (Schalke)
Forwards: Lukas Hinterseer (Ingolstadt), Rubin Okotie (1860 Munich), Marc Janko (Basel).

Austria is one of the teams that qualified to the Euros unbeaten alongside England, Italy, and Romania. However, Austria managed just two wins from the seven matches to date. The wins have come against lowly teams like Albania and Malta. Probably it means that Austria will suffer difficulties against organized teams. Austria hasn't scored a goal in their last three games and conceded in 5 of their last 6.
Iceland’s form coming into the tournament was nothing to brag about, taking into account that they lost in six of the nine friendlies. So these two teams are totally different.
The predictions are so that Iceland will draw the Austrians forwards and look to take their chances by launching quick counter attacks.
This match is virtually a knock-out clash which decides who advance to the round of 16 and for me there is little to choose between the two teams. Austria has abundance of talent in their squad, but they had so far failed to play together as a team, while Iceland is exactly the opposite.
