Is Nigeria truly the Giant of Africa?

You may hear a name "Giant of Africa". Often times it is used when people talk of Nigeria and at times when they discuss Sout Africa. What is the reason to call Nigeria so? Well, presently it is the largest and fastest growing economy of the continent. Plus, it is #1 by its population number, which is really impressive (170+ million people). Ngeria is not a giant of Africa.enterms of power(military capabilities) . why?bcs Nigeria failed to resolve the issue of domestic insugency(bokoharam)and power is the end of the point in international system.

The reason why Nigeria is called the giant of Africa is pretty obvious. It has the largest population in Africa and it takes the position #7 in the whole world. According to stats one in 40 people on our globe come from Nigeria.

Last year this country outpaced South Africa by its economy results and has become number one in Africa by its GDP. Plus, the land has all the natural resources, such as oil, gas, gold, and diamonds along with fertile land. Indeed, this country can rightfully be called the Giant of Africa.
