Corper Or Corp Member Which Is Right?

It beats me when fellow graduates call themselves CORPERS or Ex-CORPERS, i think it's wrong as Corp Member or Ex-Corp Member is appropriate. Infact i had to check my dictionary for the word CORPER again to be double sure before posting this in other not to embarass myself.

Or is it allowable (Corper) as a form of pidgin or broken english? I think we should correct ourselves.

Pls share your thoughts.

In other words, corper is allowed but informal since it's already generally acceptable in this part of the world.

Corps Member is the actual spelling and the correct word. remember the "S" is silent

Corper is colloquial

colloquial=an expression or language use that is appropriate in informal situations but not in formal ones.

Thanks for your observations, at least now I'm better informed. My buddy almost strangled me claiming there's nothing wrong with saying "Corper"
