I also recieved a text message from insight, but after hearing about what the renumeration is like, i'm no longer sure how eager i am to join, but i really like the job description though.

I pray they would have reviewed their renumeration by now.

@ aremuu

what time is the interview? you may have to prepare for computer based puzzles. that was what media reach gave me during an interview i had with them. i believe media houses dont have fixed interview pattern

I was invited for insight's interview after the test. Please can anyone provide specific hints for the interview? I will be very grateful. the test is for 22nd November.

Insight communications is not for ppl like you, no hard knocks, it's just for ppl who can think out of the box, creative and innovative people, people that can create things that are not real, peopleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee who abeg make i stop jare

i for like work there self

To be honest i actually thought Insight's remuneration would be much higher than what you said but also like you said, we all have our own motivating factors. The extra parties, events, chance to meet people,, a place like insight is where i should be at. But 70k before tax is small o. Then 130k before tax after one year is , well, maybe its the industry standard. But I'm a trainee accountant now and being an accountant has to be the boringnest job in the world. I cant imagine myself doing this for one whole year cos its not challenging(in my own point of view),its full of doing the almost the same thing everyday, same formats, same problems,

@naija-dove and tundebabzy-i left for two reasons now remember that we all have different reasons for doing things so what motivates me or inspires me will definately be different from yours.

1.their remuneration was not "ok" for me c'mon 850k per annum and then after your 1 year training it jumps to 1.6m all this before tax!!!!

2.i got an offer to come to the uk for my msc so like a wise man i jumped on it.

so folks there u have it, but remember notwithstanding the bar the place is a great place to work in the people, environment,u get to go for parties and events(i remember one of my interview questions was to name 5 clubs in lagos!!!!!)

The Insight test is for real. The chosen time and date that was giving to you was because of convienence, they are very organised people. Their primary business is Brand Communications. They are very big in the Branding Industry.

I wrote mine last year on a Sunday at 2pm, its was not crowded and the test was alrite. Insight wont take long too to inform you if you were successful or not.

So study hard and go write your test.

Wrote this test last saturday and it was just very easy going.

You can decide to go at any time you want during the weekends.

They just spread the timing out to avoid crowding. All you need is to turn up at their premises.

They check you in. Nobody will even ask you whether you were invited or not. They computer go disqualify you so gate crashers beware.

Its a computer based test so just login with your email address if you were invited

Else, nothing for you. The test is 20 qestions in 15 mins comprising of Quantitative and Verbal reasoning and small Current affairs

U have to be fast. Do the ones you can and mark the ones u can't do for review afterwards

I didn't spend up to 28mins from my arrival till when i left.

Like someone said above, its the best test experience you will have. U don't even need pen, pencil and eraser. Seriously, u don't them.

One more thing, everybody can't rite the same thing. Every question differs.

So for those whose test date and time are unusual, maybe u should just turn up at their office on saturday morning and do the test.

Or at your own convenience but it shouldn't exceed next weekend.

The test is for real and one of the most organized test you can ever attend, its basically your gmat format plus general information questions so you have to be on top of your game(i know cos i passed the test and interviews and was a member of the TMTP 2008 set, till i decided to leave) they are into markerting communications i.e advertising, public relations, media etc etc fyi insight handles all the ads you see for bank phb, gulder to name a few.

you must be young, intelligent, hip(to a certain extent),knowledgeable about every and anything and you must portray a high level of confidence,be a good leader and follower, team player and most of all be creative.
