You would not be issued any call up letter as all professional bodies' graduates are no longer allowed to serve,instead they are given EXCLUSION CERTIFICATES.To get yours,apply straight to the institute after which you would be given an authorization letter to go to NYSC office in Abuja to collect it.

Please get me right by reading between the lines. Do not be afraid cos you are on course! I said CORPORATE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION or CORPORATE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION which is just a merger of both former courses.If you have registered under financial Administration, you would still run the new courses without any conversion and at the end be issued ACIA certificate in Corporate Finance and Administration.

Again since you are a student already, I believe that your exemption rate have been communicated to you earlier. If you have HND in a business related discipline, you will start from the final professional practice level PP1 from where you would proceed to PP2 & 3.

I see your tears and feel your fears!.You sound like one of the numerous 'unsuccessful' ACIA students that couldnt stand the heat of the system but later dropped due to the high examination standard that brought about much references in your courses.You know that ACIA Certificate, like other renowned professional certificates is not cheap to acquire.Concerning your question on employment,please note that it is optional,your training as a CHARTERED ADMINISTRATOR empowers you to be an EMPLOYER OF LABOUR and NOT EMPLOYEE OF THE NEIGHBOUR.When you conduct a thorough research,you will find out that most top managers have ACIA before getting other professional qualifications(if they wished).Im currently heading the Distributions and sales department of an International media house with my additional consultancy practice.

After quoting the Act that CHARTERED CIA and refering you to websites for verification,I never expected you to ask questions relating to that.I respect everyone's opinion and personality,but your arguments seem not to make sense at all(sorry for saying this)Please learn to verify issues before arguing.Search your mind to know if what I said earlier on isnt the truth(You dropped out of the ACIA programme!).Please allow others the opportunity because they can make it! I still love you,but be more constructive.

1. What happened to the Bsc certificate, your institution promised the last set that enrolled into

Ambrose Ali University distance learining programme?

2. What has happened to the current Bsc certificate programme your institute is currently into

with IMSU?

3. Why are policies being introduced almost on a daily basis?

4. Why is a chartered body as you claim being owned and controlled by a single individual?

5. How many of your qualified members are presently employed?

6. What has happed to the chartered institute of secretaries and adminstrators?

7. How famous is your institution within its locality i.e. Mebamu

8. Which act gave this institution the title "chartered"?

9. Which is your area of core competence?

10. Do you know that administration covers Taxation, Marketing, Personnel, Accounting, etc

which all have a specialised and recognised bodies?

11. How comes your institution since inception in 1993 or so do not participate in any public

function? What is wrong?

Hi Morano,

The Chartered Institute of Administration truly gets some exemptions from some ACCA papers but it does not give you MUCH exemptions as you claim.

You only get exempted from 3 [/b]papers out of a total of [b]14. How that corresponds to MUCH beats me.

You should be more accurate with your information.

Thanks so much,but there is no way CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF ADMINISTRATION-NIGERIA can be mistaken for INSTITUTE OF SECRETARIES AND ADMINISTRATORS-UK by ACCA.The info was confirmed and non- personal, ACCA exemptions is an additional value to the ACIA professional qualification granted after exploring her rich syllabus .

I like the way you present things, you are a true ADMINISTRATOR, am also a mamber of CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF ADMINISTRATION , and i can see you really know what the INSTITUTE stand to preach. One thing you forgot to say is that with your ACIA certificate you will get exemptions on course for course, and going by the course content of our INSTITUTE you get more exemption than any professional body and university in Nigeria. I love your opinion,but I must correct your ill conception-that CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF ADMINISTRATION 'claims' the prestigious title 'CHARTERED' because it has an Act(Act 103, 1992) that chartered it, empowering it to regulate the practice of Administration in Nigeria in various consultancy fields within a regulatory framework.Please CIA is not like some mushroom professional bodies that are still craving for a CHARTER.Get the National Gazette or visit these websites to view the confirmation: www.nigeria-law.org/LFN-92 or http://www.nigerianprofessional.com.

Thanks a lot for identifying that CIA members are jack of all trade but we are master of all!.We can't practice in all fields because we ain't confused!,but focus on overall management consultancy and entrepreneurial development with an underlying core Administrative competence. It doesn't matter your specialization,but it is sine-qua-non for effective co-ordination for those in top hierarchy of any organization.

Dear,how would you feel when you are called upon(as an organizational head) to make some contributions or corrections, to remedy a defective organisation's Business segment within your company,but you couldnt ,because of no knowledge of their activities and ways they should operate? ACIA gives you the power!

What is ACIA, what's it all about.

I personally believe that Admistration is not an area of specialisation. It covers everything which makes you a jerk of all trade, as they say master of none.

Your institute has a lot of fundamental problems to tackle if they are to be accorded that honouable title "Chartered" as they cliam.

Prove me wrong.

As a CHARTERED ADMINISTRATOR,as I have said earlier,u have that opportunity of versatility in all the business related fields n excel in Business Consultancy practice.Please note that the ACIA certificate don't give u the licence to practice as a CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT but as a PROFESSIONAL/CHARTERED ADMINISTRATOR which is a plus to your accounting profession.ACIA syllabus covers deeply courses offered by ICAN n xtends to other disciplines,we have several FELLOWS of ICAN n ACCA as CIA members also.Please stay posted!

Is ur business Education cert.a Bsc or HND? Which Institution issued it?If it is either a Bsc or HND from a reputable institution,since it is Business inclined,u wil be granted an exemption in all the foundation levels to the final level Professional practice stage one(PP1) from where u wil proceed to the last level-PP3.Each level lasts 6months ,summing up to 18months.There were three specialities namely:Financial Administration,Corporate managerial Administration &Public Administration,but due to the recent revision of the courses-to suite the ever changing business environment,every student now majors only in CORPORATE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION which comprises all the three courses.Remember,as a CHARTERED ADMINISTRATOR, u must be vast with full knowledge of Accounting,Marketing n other core functional areas of business to enable you co-ordinate all the organisational activities.
