It happened to me too, before driving out of the compound and felt the brakes going down and not gripping well, i checked the brake oil and discovered it was low, so i told myself i would refill it at the nearest petrol station. i never knew the brake oil pipe was leaking. On the Ikorodu road near Fadeyi, suddenly the car in my front stopped due to hold up, thankGod i wasnt speeding, i just matched the brake and the car did not even respond, it went ahead to hit the car in front, for micro of a second my heart skipped, to my suprised it was not much damage, my headlight broke but the car in front was a volvo with thick bumper so no damage to it, i just entered the nearest petrol station, Thank God!

Devil is a liar sha, It happend 2 me 31 dec last year, I was on top speed close to jakande bus stop when all of a sudden a bus enterd the road without lookin, Every1 started holdin brake, I tried mine and it didnt catch, i quickly spoke to my self that if i panickd i will be the cause of the worst accident of 2009.What i did is that i turned the steering sharply to the right and drew up my handbrake, With smoking tyres my vehicle made a 360 degrees turn and stopped facing the other way, Hw my heart didnt stop workin i dnt knw, The mechanic on inspection said the cause of the brake failure was dat my wheel drums had expired and that my brake shoes/linning had worn off, Thats just 1 of my experiences i have many more to share,

Omo it happened to me on the way to VGC as I was going to see one silly girl last year

the brake was a bit stiff at v.i but I thought i was imagining it, . Next thing Im facing the back of a jeep in traffic and my brake was not responding , I drove my car into the sand at the middle of the express. After a while i moved it and parked by one side road.

I cant lie i was sweating like a madman, had to wait till 10 for traffic to go down before i could face home again.
